Hello. I am currently in need of some help, my husband and I are trying to track down his father and family. His father's name is Patrick Quinn born in County Mayo in the 1940's. Patrick would make his way to Liverpool, and meet Dorothy Wilson in the 1960's. In Liverpool towards the end of the 60's Dorothy would give birth to my husband. Patrick eventually went to live with an Aunt and Uncle Gallagher in Blackpool, as the relationship broke down. In the early 70's, Dorothy would then take her son to Canada. After many years, we are now living in Ireland and would love for him to be able to reconnect and get to know a family that was denied him. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    The birth records that I can access go to 1920's.

    Do you happen to know the name of Patrick's father and the parish in Mayo in which he was born?

    I only have that Patrick was born in county mayo in the early 40's. As Dorothy was born in 1942, I aways made my searchs be 1940-44 with the assumption that they were around the same age. We have no name for Patrick's father,  only the Gallagher name which we are assuming comes from Patrick's mothers side. Information Dorothy gave us before she passed have lead me to be able to confirm history on her side,  so I think she gave us the best information she had about Patrick.
