As my GGF Patrick, son of Martin, was illiterate and left behing no photos, the info I can share is circumstanmtial, plus an early photo of my GF John Joseph Ward, son of Patrick. Hi there.  The Ward family lived on Windfield Lower with my family, the Leonards. I connected with our family in the past year and have been out to the homestead twice.  The ruins of the Ward home are at the back of the current home, just meters away from the old Leonard home.  I believe they were all quite close.  Julia Ward is listed as attending to the birth of my great-grandfather.  I don't believe there were any marriages between the two families, but there is that connection!
