Denis EAGAN married Mary RYAN (abt 1830) and.... John MCDONNELL emmigrated to Canada with wife Margaret GRIFFITH and infant son John in 1846-7. We believe at least the Eagans were from Ballina.

I can take a look later today. Ballina is in the Kilmoremoy Roman Catholic parish, but I have seen many families listed as being from Ballina when they were from neighboring parishes like Kilfian, Killala, Lacken, Kilcummin, etc. I'll get back to this later today.

This can be a good clue. I know from the grave transcriptions (I believe at the goldenlangan website) there were lots of early 19th century Egans in that area, too. (Kilmoremoy) The Ancestry lookup is much appreciated.
