Kennedy's of Carrickbeg, Rocketcastle, and Curraghmore

Unfortunately RC records for Carrickbeg do not begin until 1842 for baptisms though the marriage records do begin earlier than this in 1807. One way you will be able to determine if he is related to the Whitestown Kennedys would be to find a baptism or marriage to connect them. Something to look out for too, would be the names of sponsors or witnesses on records as they are usually close friends if not family members. Again, ancestry.com or rootsireland.ie would be of assistance here. (I believe rootsireland recently added to its Waterford records).
