Hello,
the parish that I am interested in is not the one that you highlight from the Google maps. This map is too far to the southwest. The one that our family came from is just west of Wexford Town, in the Catholic parish of Glynn. The old civil name was / is Carrick, and it abuts Taghmon, and is near Shelmaliere Commons and Barntown.

You are correct and the problem is with Google Maps. I just used the application and it erroneously sent me it to the same map that is on the Ireland XO web site. There is only one Carrick parish in Co. Wexford so the parish page was intended to be for the parish to the west of Wexford town. Go ahead and join that parish. I will advise the Ireland XO HQ staff about the problem with the map. Not sure if they can do anything at this time.
