I am in search of information regarding CATHERINE BRENNAN (1829-1906). She married Jeremiah Mahoney (1812-1904) in Clinton, New York in 1846.
I believe her parents were Michael Brennan (1895-1855) and Alice Patricia Medlar (1805-1860). They were both from Kilkenney.

I went to Roots Ireland www.rootsireland.ie and located an 1829 baptismal record for a Catherine Brennan with father Michael and a mother with the surname Medlar. NOTE I tried Alice but got no record which indicates the first name was other than Alice.
The baptism was in the Gowran RC church records. Gowran is a Catholic and civil parish in northeast Kikenny somewhat close to the Co. Carlow border.
Roots is a pay site to view a transcription of a church record. Roots now requires that you get a subscription to access their records.
