Hello,

I am seeking further details of my Great Great Grandmother who states that her name was " Mary Fitzgerald " on board the " Maria Famine ship " to Australia which arrived in Australia around the 10th of August, 1850.  Mary has stated different Parent's names on birth certificates in Australia and on her deceased certificate it states different Parent's names again.

The details I have are that Mary was born circa 1832 in Stonehall, Limerick Ireland. Other records state that Mary was from " Kilbeggan Count Westmeath, Ireland.

The ship " Maria " states in the log that her Parents were John and Johanna Fitzgerald ( maiden name O'Shaughnessy. Mary's death certificate states that her Mother was Hanorah instead.

Mary also states different middle names in documents and one says Mary Ann Fitzgerald, whilst the other says Mary Agnes Fitzgerald.

Mary married Dennis Michael McCormack on the 24th of May, 1851 the Wollombi Roman Catholic Church in NSW, Australia. Dennis Michael McCormack is my Mother's Great Grandfather.

I would really appreciate help as the Family and myself are at a standstill and it is beginning to frustrate us because nothing is clear. Can anyone help please?
