My great great grandfather was James Donoghue, son of Dermot/Jeremiah....James married Hanoria Long, daughter of John Long.....all of the families were from Dromartin.

If my research is correct, James had a sister Margaret Donoghue who appears to have married Martin/Maurice Sheehy in the early 1860's....records are at St. John's in Causeway....I don't know how many, if any of the Sheehy family emigrated but it appears that at least one son, John Sheehy MAY have married Johanna Brosnan....I found Johanna and her children in both the 1901 and 1911 census records for Dromartin/ Drommartin.....I wonder if there are still any Sheehy family members in the area of Dromartin and if so, how can I get in contact?  I'm also wondering if others in the family may have emigrated .....

John Sheehy;s name is not in the 1901 census although Johanna's status is listed as married...in 1911 she is listed as a widow IF this is the correct family....if so, John MAY have died prior to 1901...
