Brennan's in Addergoole

Some time ago I enquired about my husband's ancestors, Peter Brennan and his wife Bridget Barrett who came to Australia in 1828.  They had a child in county Mayo, also named Peter, born around 1825.  Peter Brennan was born in around 1799 in Addergoole.  He has a brother Thomas and his mother was Mary.  Peter Brennan had joined the 94th Regiment in Castlebar and when it was disbanded, joined the 39th Regiment in Castlebar. Thomas was also in the 39th Regiment and came to Australia.  Unfortunately, Thomas was court-martialled in 1832 in Sydney and shot.  He had discharged his firearm at his sergeant after he had been drinking.  His next of kin was his mother Mary from Addergoole.

I have found in the later church book that there were Brennans by the name of Mary and John in the parish of Addergoole, but apparently there are no church books for the period of time that my Brennan's were there.  I am wondering if there are any Brennan's living in the parish of Addergoole now and if they might know something of their history.  I am stuck with my research on Peter Brennan and Bridget Barrett and thought if there were still local Brennan's, they may know how long their ancestors had been living in the area.
