hi , looking for info on patrick traynor/ trainor of drumgurra who died in 1897 at 70 yrs  his death certificate states he was married & from the cancelled rate books a bessy trainor is entered above his crossed out  name & she is on the 1901 census as a widow, i believe bessy is a nickname for elizabeth & i havent found a death record for her from 1901 to 1911 as she is not on the 1911 census. patricks daughter ( my ggrandmother) was mary ann traynor born 1849 at drumgurra who came to queensland in 1871  &  her marriage & death certificates have her parents as patrick traynor & judith colwell.  i wonder if judith died & patrick remarried   i have a death record for a  judith traynor in 1879 at carrickmacross workhouse  as a widowed pauper but this doesnt seem to fit as patrick died later .  i believe john, phillip & laurence traynor of drumgurra were related to patrick .  i have searched the rc parish records for magheross  with no result owing to the missing years & would like any possible help in this matter

Back from vacation and I wanted to close this out. Clare was not aware on the 21st that I had already replied to you on the 17th when you posted in the Magheross Monaghan parish page. Good luck in your genealogy research endeavors.
