Flood Hall

Hi! My grandfather Joseph Basil Cummins, son of Laurence Cummins b. 1846 and Maria Brannock Cummins b.1854, was born in Flood Hall which is between Stoneyford and Knocktopher around 1881. They left Ireland in 1883 for New York. I am putting together the family tree.

Anybody that knows some of the Cummins who live in the vicinity of Thomastown and Kilkenny or their history, let me know. I would appreciate that. Flood Hall is in the parish of Jerpoint Abbey, but I would like to hear from anybody in that area even if you are not a Cummins. I would be very happy to share any information that I have, too, about my Cummins' family or even what it is like to live in North Carolina, USA. Maybe we could trade baseball cards for hurling cards!
