At least three Reynolds brothers, Thomas, John and Benjamin emigrated to New York around 1827. All Presbyterians. Thomas, a linen weaver, was b ca 1790 and married Agnes McCullough (widow Cardwell) in Dromore Parrish 1821. Two children Jane, 1824 and John, 1826, both baptised there as well. They had connections (born there?) in Portadown, Armagh. Both John, b ca 1780 and Benjamin, b 1793 married in US, but might have married previously. Need information on natal family.

Hi Janet
There are 7 baptism records of Thomas Reynolds 1790 + - 5 years on www.rootsireland.ie/
http://ifhf.rootsireland.ie/quis.php?page=1&confirmPageView=Y
However there are 31 John Reynolds 1790 + - 10 years but no Benjamins!
There are 3 public member trees on ancestry.com which have Thomas born 1795 in 'Norn Iron' parents Francis Reynolds & Eliza Todd. However I couldn't find this record on rootsireland.
They have Francis born 1770 in Armagh but no luck there either!
I suggest you have a look on PRONI (do the name search) if you haven't already.

Thank you for your help. I will look into it. I have been to PRONI, but not recently. Always a good idea to check back every so often.
