Good day,
My name is Sheila May (nee Forbes).
My great, great, great grandfather Alexander Forbes d.o.b unknown, date of death unknown, married on the 16/9/1780 in this church to Jane Williams d.o.b unknown, I think she died 21/2/1828. Their sons Edward d.o.b unknown & Alexander (who was my great great grandfather) d.o.b.unknown, Both set sail for South Africa as 1820 settler, aboard the East India on the 12/2/1820.
From here I have plenty of information, but woulf love to find out more about the people mentioned above & I would be extremely grateful for all information.

I assume your family was Church of Ireland. Roots Ireland www.rootsireland.ie has C of I baptismal records for Longford/Templemichael parish starting in 1796. I searched for Edward and Alexander with no success. With the 1780 marriage for their parents they probably were born before 1796.
