Roots Ireland www.rootsireland.ie has an 1832 baptism for a Thomas Brassell in Co. Waterford. Not sure if this is your Thomas. Roots is a pay site to view their transcription from the church record.

Hi Roger Thanks will try there - also before I was looking for a Walter John Brassell which you replied to me. I traced him to New Zealand where he was born. Thomas is his father so it will be a big break through if we can trace him.

There are a few Brazils fanilies in County Waterford, these families are located in Kilmacthomas and in the Nire Valley areas.

Apparrently we were also O'Brassell at one time.Have been to the Mormon Church in Johannesburg and they have a wealth of infomation - need to spend many more hours there to try to get infomation.
