Looking for Mullahy & Ward from Claremorris c 1836.

I looked on Roots Ireland www.rootsireland.ie for a baptismal record for Michael Mullahy with no success. There is a marriage record on Roots for an 1857 marriage of Michael Mullahy and Mary Ward in the RC parish of Crossboyne and Tagheen. These parishes are just to the south of Kilcolman civil parish which includes Claremorris. There are also 3 baptismal records for Mary Wards from 1834-1840 in the same parish (Crossboyne and Tagheen). I approximated when your Mary was born but I'm not sure if any of these Marys are the wife of Michael Mullahy. Roots is a pay site to see the actual data that was transcribed from the church record.

Thank you Roger for the information , i will go onto Roots to see what else i can find out . I would be interested to know how many Mullahy's are in and around Claremorris and would love to find someone who has done our Family Tree .

The 1901 census does not show any Mullahys in Kilcolman civil parish which includes Claremorris. There are Mullanys in the parish.
