On my great great grandfathers headstone here in Buffalo, NY, USA is inscribed

Patrick Kinney native of Parish Koolosought County Kerrey Ireland

He died here in USA in 1876, husband of Mary Kinney.

 

The Parish Koolosought is hard to read this may not be what it says nut it does end in ....sought, was there any church parish close to this name or likeness? See pic.

    My best guess (and it is a guess) is Curracitty townland in Killeentierna civil parish. I looked for townlands ending with ty and beginning with C. Maybe Martine can see what she thinks the name is.
