Calling all Quinn's, my mother was very young about 2 or 3 years old when her mother, Alice Dryburgh nee Quinn died in 1934. My Mum does not have a single photo of her mother, and was too young to remember what she looked like. Alice Quinn's mother and father were called Jane and Joseph Quinn, and Alice had brothers and sisters Joseph, Mary Ann, Bridget and Michael, maybe more. Before Alice got married she live with her family in Annagher Co Tryone. Please can you help?

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out and apologies for the delay in replying to your message.

Have you tried searching Ancestry.com for any mention of your ancestor?s name in member family trees or messages?  I would suggest you contact all the heritage societies in Tyrone you can find on google. Many of these know the local area and what local publications are available that could include a photograph of your grandmother in a different context, perhaps at a religious event or in a group of some kind. Do you know where she went to school?

Let us know how you get on

    Best wishes
