Martin Duggan and Mary Agnes Mahon, my great -grandparents married in Labane church on August 16th 1865. They lived at Raheen - I'm not sure whether it was Raheen Kilkelly or Raheen Demesne. Martin's father was a steward. I would like to know on which estate - I think there are 3 possibilities Raheen Demesne owned by the O'Haras; or Coole Park by the Gregory family; or for Lord Gort.
They had left Raheen for Galway city by 1876. I wonder what was happening locally that could have led to this move
A Mary Duggan shows up on Griffiths valuation in 1855 in Raheen Kilkelly . I wonder if she was related.

Hi Pauline, I am reviewing old queries but I am afraid I can offer no light on your problem. You could contact the Galway Library or Archives to see what they have but you may have to visit.
As I have Galway ancestors myself I know there are a number of private Galway Genealogy Facebook groups and I have also seen ones local to an area, long shot but worth thinking about.
