Tracing Walter John Brassell

I looked at the 1850 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Co. Waterford. There were no Brassell entries but there were a number of Brazil and Brazill entries plus one Brassel entry.

You may want to look at www.askaboutireland.ie for the Griffiths data.

I also looked at Roots Ireland which is a pay site to view records www.rootsireland.ie but did not locate the baptism record for Walter or a marriage record for Walter and Mary.

The marriage would have been between Thomas Brassell and Mary Kennelly.

To make mattes worse apparrently we were O'Brassell and not sure when the "o" was dropped.
