In 1826 Patrick Donohue lived in Shangarry.
He had 4 sons, Michael, John, Robert and Patrick.
Any information would be appreciated.

Robert:
The 1856 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing shows a Maria Donohoe in Shangarry townland.

Possibly she was related to Patrick.
I also looked at the 1901 census and there was a Michael Donohue family in Shangarry. I'm wondering if this is the Michael in your note. The oldest son is Patrick.

Michael was still living in 1911.

Rogert:
Thanks for that information.
I have since dowloaded the 1901 and 1911 Census's. Now working on my Ballinasloe Donohue family.
I have no wife for Michael, but I do have the family.
The Maria you mention I will have to look at, My Maria (Grandmother) was born in Ballinasloe.
Many thanks for your info.

Hi Robert,
Patrick Donohue was my great great great grandfather. Maria Donohue was his wife.
I have a handwritten copy of the family tree, you can see a photograph of it via the link below.

The family burial plot is located at Kilcooley graveyard, i believe Patrick and Maria are buried there.
I hope that helps!
