info on John Dooley 1835-1911

Helen:

The townland is Lenareagh and it is located in Clonkeen civil parish. John would have been born around 1834 based on his age in the 1911 census and civil registration of births did not begin until 1864. I looked for a civil marriage index record for John and Bridget but did not locate a record. I will keep looking. The 1901 and 1911 census records are below.

Any possibility that Bridget's last name was not Barrett? I looked for records in the Loughrea registration district and found an 1868 civil marriage index record for a John Deely who married one of the four ladies on this record. The index record show all the females from the marriages recorded on page 463. You will note that there are two Bridgets listed. Also, it looks like the RC records for Clonkeen church do not start until 1840 which would be after John's birth.
