Vermont Estate

I am searching for records on my Moore relatives.  I lost the trail on my 3x. g.grandmother, Martha.  I have no birth record or death certificate; however, I have her on the US census from 1850 through 1880.  They all indicate she was born in New York.  On the 1880 census, it indicates her father, un-named, was born in Vermont.

Until recently, I had assumed that meant the state of Vermont; however, after uncovering another Moore in the same town she was living in before she was married, who was born in Ireland apparently 4 years after she was born in New York, I decided to do a search on the name Vermont, which uncovered a small estate in County Galway.

Based on another search, I found Killoscobe to be the closest parish to that estate, and so I was hoping there may be some records of Moore families in the area.

If anyone has any information at all, I would be most appreciative.
