Two of them are from Balla RC parish

I don't think the death records go up to 1940 so couldn't find him.

I'm wondering if the date of birth for Martin is too early. The only death index record for a Martin Walsh in the Castlebar registration district (which includes Balla parish) shows a date of birth of 1857. Also the only Martin Walsh that I could find in the 1911 census was shows as 46 years old which would correspond to  an 1864 date of birth.http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Mayo/Balla/Ballyclogher/710900/ Granted the ages for the census or the death record may not have been accurate. Did your Martin marry a Mary? If you want to pursue getting a copy of the 1941 death record from the GRO let me know and I will explain the process.
