Looking for ancestors of Coleman Porter 1874-1954 & Mary Madden 1876-1971.
Coleman was born1874 in Drimkeary Galway in 1874 ans passed on 20 June 1954 . His parents may be William H Porter 1836 - 9 Feb 1913 Galway. His mother may be Bridget Shiels born 1846 in Drimkeary, Galway and passed in March of 1918.
Mary Madden was born 20 Aug 1876 on Oldthort Galway and passed in October of 1971 in Waterford Galway. Her father may be Patrick Madden born 5 Aug 1837 Tynagh Galway died apr-Jun 1909 in Portumna Galway. Her mother may be Catherine Mannion born 1841 in Tuam and died in 1905, place unknown.

I looked at www.familysearch.org for children of William Porter and Bridget Shiels. I found four baptismal index records for Michael, Patrick, James and Thomas but no Coleman and none of the births were in 1874. However, the mother of the four sons was Bridget Shiel or Shiels. I also located a 1906 civil marriage index record for a Coleman Porter and I assume this is your Coleman.
The family lived in Drumkeary West townland in Ballynakill civil parish. below are the 1901 and 1911 census records. There were also Shiel families in that townland so you may want to investigate further.

No luck with COLEMAN Porter but there are 2 Michael Porter births & 1 baptism on rootsireland
(I wonder if Coleman was a good singer?)
Mary Madden on the other hand - there are 6 records of her birth/baptism 1876 Galway (4 births & 2 baptisms)
