I am looking for information on Patrick and Amelia Dunne. I believe they left Ireland around 1825. I believe that Patrick was born around 1777. Unsure about Amelia's birthdate. I believe that they had 9 children when they left, Michael, Denis, John, Peter, William, Mary, Edward, Elizabeth and Patrick. They immigrated to New Brunswick Canada and then to Chicago in 1843. Patrick is my third great grandfather. I have no other info about extended family of Patrick or Amelia.

There are2 baptism records for Patrick Dunne 1775 in Laois on www.rootsireland.ie/
The parish of the records was Rosenallis R C not Stradbally
There is no marriage record of Patrick & Amelia though. I searched all counties and all years so could there any other first name for her?
The extended family question is difficult without the parents' names as there are 351 Dunnes born in Laois 1777 + - 20 years!
If you purchase the record on rootsireland.ie/ it MAY have a parent's name on it - some do & many don't
Interestingly in the Tithe Applotments 1823-37 & free to search online there are no Dunnes in Laois but 1435 in other counties

Patrick and Amelia Dunne are also my third great grandparents. I have details of their children (my second great grandfather was Patrick and Amelia's tenth child Edward).
