Owen Hughes [1815 - 24 JAN 1879 Aughee, Dromore, Tyrone] married 9 FEB 1864 to Ellen Coll [1844 Dromore, Tyrone - 3 DEC 1879 Auhgee, Dromore, Tyrone] buried in St. Dympna's graveyard and they had seven children:
1. Mary Anne Hughes O'Donnell [6 AUG 1864 Aughee, Tyrone - ] married Bernard O'Donnell [ Tyrone - ] they had seven children: James Gerard O'Donnell, Ellen KAthleen O'Donnell, Cahrles Henry O'Donnell, Sarah Jane O'Donnell, Eugene Columba O'Donnell, Anthony Edward O'Donell (Jessie Husband Clark) they had 2 boys & a girl and Mary 'Mai' O'Donnell.
2. Francis J. Hughes [1866 Aughee, Tyrone - ] We have his USA Naturalization papers.
3. Catherine Hughes [25 FEB 1866 Aughee, Tyrone - ]
4. Sarah Anne Hughes Horsfield [25 AUG 1867 Aughee, Tyrone - 27 FEB 1931 Sydney, Australia] married in 1894 to John Horsfield [1836 England - 1897] they had one daughter: Elizabeth Horsfield Bowling [1893 - 1940].
5 . Laurence Hughes [28 AUG 1869 Aughee, Tyrone - DEC 1952 Dundalk, Tyrone].
6. James Hughes [1 May 1871 Aughee, Tyrone - 18 JAN 1936] married in 1895 in NYC, NY to Anna 'Annie' McCanney /McKenna [7 AUG 1871 DRomore, Tyrone - SEP 1903 NYC, NY] they had been neighbors in Tryone. Together they had four children: Margaret Ellen Hughes Lawlor Gilligan (James John Lawlor & John 'Jack' H. Gilligan) they had two sons, Sarah 'Sadie' Kathleen Hughe Lawlor (Richard Francis Lawlor) they had four children - three girls and a boy, John P Hughes ( 1900 lived nine days) and Annie Hughes (May 1901 - 1902). In 1907, after Annie's deathe in NYC he married Bridget McHale (KIncon, Ballina, Mayo) , maternal aunt of James & Richard Lawlor.
7. Ellen Hughes Guinan [1845 Aughee, Tyrone - Bronx, NY] married in NYC to James Guinan [1890 Ireland - Bronx, NY] they had no children.
ELLEN COLL HUGHES' FAMILY:
Father James Coll [1820 - JUN 1888 Dromore, Tyrone] married unknown [ - ] they had a least three children:
1. Ellen Coll Hughes - see above
2. Joseph Coll [1845 Dromore, Tyrone - NYC] married unknown [ - NYC]they had at least one son Joseph Coll according to oral family tradition.
3. Arthur Coll [1852 Sromore, Tyrone - 7 FEB 1934 Dromore, Tyrone] married in Dromore, Tyrone Sarah Corr [1872 - 1947 Dromore, Tyrone] they had eight children:
- James Coll [1869 Dromore, Tyrone, - SEP 1957 NYC] married Delia Tierney [20 JUL 1901 Mayo, Ireland - 7 May 1947] they had two daughters: Mary Theresa Coll & Eleen Coll.
- Mary 'Marie' Coll Levy [24 AUG 899 Dromore, Tyrone - APR 1978 Miami, FL] married on 19 OCT 1922 to David Mortimer Levy [6 NOV 1899 NYC - 3 MAR 1943 Brooklyn NY] they had no children.
- Sarah Bridget Coll McCarron [18 NOV 1901 Dromore, Tyrone - 1963 Cornamuck, Dromore, Tyrone) married on 14 FEB 1920 in Dromore to Patrick Joseph McCarron [1879 Cornamuck, Tyrone - 1946 Butte, Montana, USA] they had five children: James McCarron, Mary McCarron Kelly (James Kelly), Eugene McCarron, John McCarron & Theresa 'Tissy' McCarron Kelly.
- Henry Coll [1903 Dromore, Tyrone - ] married Theresa Hughes [1905 - ] they had two children: Rosaleen Coll and Arthur Coll.
- John Arthur Coll [13 JAN 1905 Dromore, Tyrone - 9 SEP 1957 Butte, Montana, USA] never married and no children.
- Eugene Coll [1908 Dromore, Tyrone - 24 JAN 1962 Dromore, Tyrone] no children and never married.
