My second great grandparents, John Lonergan/Landergon and Hanora/Dorothy Boland were married 12 January 1836 in the parish church. Her parents were Patrick and Katharine Boland. His father was David Lonergan of Treanmanagh.

The only record for in Pallasgreen was John Lonergan renting a house in Nicker Village in 1851 Griffith Valuation and John Lonergan Jnr in Ballingreana Kilteely . Lonergan name quite numerous in neighbouring parishes. James Boland in Dromalta Cappamore.

Thank you, Seamus. I believe the Nicker Village rental would be my great great grandfather. By 1861 two of his sons were in Vermont in the United States, the younger as an apprentice to his uncle, Timothy Boland, a cooper.
