Barbara Lavery and John Gorham

Barbara:

I went to www.familysearch.org and looked for children of John Lavery and Mary Keaney. I only found an Anne Lavery born 5/11/1874. I then went to www.findmypast.ie and found a civil birth index record for Anne (below) in the Clifden registration district. If this is your family then they lived in western Co.Galway probably in Connemara. I could not find any civil birth index records for a Barbara Lavery or a Sarah Lavery. I did find a Martin Lavery in 1879 and a Bridget in 1878. I did not locate a record for a John Gorham in 1878.  If you want to get a copy of the birth record for Anne, contact the GRO www.groireland.ie  fill out their form and provide the year, registration district and the volume and page number ( 9 and 214). Costs around 4 euros. It will tell you where the family lived.

I went to www.familysearch.org and looked for children of John Gorham and Katherine Folan. I found three records: Bartholomew 12/17/1871, Catherine 4/19/1873 and Margaret 10/30/1875. No record for John but did find the death record below which I presume you already have.
