Dear Ann and Pat, and other IrelandXO'ers!
You very kindly replied to my posting last November, and I'm finally going to visit Tiernascragh this coming weekend. I know that this is short notice, but is there a possibility of meeting one of you on Saturday, around 12.30-13.30? I will be en route to Clifden with a friend, and plan to detour to see the place where my grandfather's family lived around 1901. The townland is Longford.
Best wishes,
Audrey Mac Cready

Dear Pat,
Thanks so much for meeting Chantal and me on 21 September. It was great to see the place where my great-grandfather worked, even if his stay in Tiranascragh wasn't lifelong. I'm very grateful to you for checking the School Rolls, too. The Hinch children's absence from the 2 Catholic schools is as interesting as their presence would have been!
Please thank Nigel Stoddard for me, for inviting us into his home. That was a privilege, and that kitchen gallery is superb!
I attach a photo of my grandfather, Henry Hinch, as promised. I told my mother about my visit to you, and she is delighted that you are interested in having the photo. I think it was taken outside the Gresham Hotel on O'Conell St., Dublin. I also have a photo of his dad, John, which I got from a distant cousin. I'll check with him if it's ok to send it to you, too.
Hope all is well in Tiranascragh!
regards,
Audrey

Hi Pat,
Here is the photo of John Hinch, which I got from my 2nd cousin, Michael Hinch.
Mike Feerick has asked me to write a short article for the IrelandXO newsletter, which I will do. Your name will be in lights!
best wishes,
Audrey
