Hello from Beautiful Queensland!
I am researching the family of William and Ann (nee Moore) Coulter.
They had several children including:
Anne -Baptised 12/03/1824 at PARISH OF GALLOON Newtown Butler, Fermanagh, Ireland, John (born 1818), Jane (born 1831), James (Born 1834), William (born ?), Elizabeth (born 1820), and there could be more, I am not sure.
Anne emigrated to Australia some time before 1846 as she married a frenchman Charles Bertheau on the 12/03/1846 at Parramatta NSW.
I am interested in getting information about the Moore and Coulter families if possible.
Have a nice day and kind regards,
Michaela

Hi Michaela,
Thank you very much for your message. I hope that someone with information makes a connection with you and helps you to further your research.
In the meantime, have you tried looking at church records for more information? Catholic records are held locally so you may need to write to the local parish priest for possible assistance. One website that you may find useful is the Irish Times where they give an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. It also shows you where copies of the records are available. For Galloon parish, follow this link:
I did a search for Coulter?s in Galloon in Griffith?s Valuation. This is a property valuation survey carried out 1848-64. There was numerous Coulter?s in the parish, including Jane Coulter:
I also did a search for Coulter?s in Galloon on the Fermanagh Gold website. This is a great genealogy source for those with ancestors in Fermanagh. Here is a link to all the Coulter referneces inthe parish, you may find something useful:
