I had relatives in the westport area many years ago i visited westport and was directed to a very old village outside westport with a name I cannot rember, it sounded like shar there were still merriman's living there and a lot of the village had fell in to ruin I have since tried to relocate it on a map with no succes have i got the name right i understood from the residants at the time they were distant relatives an the years ago most of the village where Merriman's could any one give me the correct name off the old village.
