Hello:

I would like to know who the parents are of George Bartman.  I haven't seen the following records but if you could get his parents, when and how immigrated to Canada about 1848 and anything else about him I would appreciate it greatly.  George is my second great grandfather.

George Barkman who was baptised Nov 09,  1806 at Kilfinnane, Limerick, Ireland.   George was from Particles Parish according to his wedding record quoted in a book.

He married Ellen Shouldis on January 31, 1837 at Rathkealee Parish where she is from.

Previously, I have searched ancestry, family search, google, and roots web sites as well as a book given to me including family trees.

All help is appreciated,

    I looked at the Tithes Applotment listing from 1833 for Particles civil parish. I located a Peter Bartman (same as your spelling) in Glanisheen townland. Possibly he was the father of George. I did not find any Shouldis records in Rathkeale civil parish.

    Thank-you for your help.  Fabulous.  So George Barkman's father was Peter Bartman.  I will start searching for more information about him.  Does his christening records have any more informaton about Peter or George?
