Just looked through the baptismal register for Moylough church and the baptism of Patrick Joseph Concannon is recorded as Sept. 12th 1896, one day after the birth certificate, with James and Kate Mullin as parents with James Mullin and Mary Concannon listed as sponsors. There are no other children to those parents on that same register but it may be incomplete. You have mentioned that the address is Moyloughbeg but I have often noticed that the townlands of Moyloughbeg, Gorteenlehard, Loughil and Cooloo Mountain, which  are all adjacent to each other, are sometimes not used correctly in many registers. It is interesting to note that there are no Concannons whatsoever in any of these townlands in Griffiths valuation (1855) but again they are all quite close to a townland of Cloonascragh where there are many many families of Concannon. The 1901 census has a Jane Concannon (60) living in Loughil with a Boyle family and also has a Kate Concannon (16) working as a servant for a Murphy family in Cooloo Mountain so neither of these would be of any help I would think. In 1911 Jane is still in Loughil and another Concannon appears in Gorteenlehard Martin Joe, his wife and a baby under one year. There are two things that might be worth probing to confirm the address on the 1896 birth certificate is correct. Firstly try to get a marriage certificate for James and Kate and this would hopefully give you James address and also his father’s name and secondly to consult the valuations (after Griffiths) in the Valuation Office in Dublin and if James was a tenant then it would give his precise address and precise location of his property. I would be of the opinion, though I may be wrong, that James, or perhaps his parents, actually moved into this area after 1855. Hope this helps. Jimmy.
