I am looking for information on the family of my great grandmother, Julia Burke McDonald.  Julia was born on March 8, in @1866 in County Mayo.  She was the daughter of John Burke and Mary Cusack.   Julia had at least two siblings - Catherine and Michael.  Catherine was born December 8, 1864 in Islandeady Parish.  John Burke and Mary Cusack married in Islandeady parish on Jan.  17, 1864.  The family immigrated to America In @ 1875, and settled in the Buffalo, NY area.  Julia married Thomas McDonald  in @ 1895.  I have been unable to locate any record of Julia or Michael in Ireland.  Any information anyone may have or suggestions of places I can search would be greatly appreciated.

    Regarding John Burke and Mary Cusack.

    I am wondering if Mary Cusack is a daughter of my ancestors Michael Cusack and Margaret Carney of Islandeady, Mayo.  I am trying to find all their children and so far have these:

    Patrick b circa 1825-1830

    James b circa 1836

    Michael b circa 1839

    Catherine b 1842

    John b 1843

    Mary was a name that shows in their descendants, although I know it is a common name.  However, a Mary Burke was the informant for the father Michael's death.
