My great grandfather Martin Lynch married Mary Crean and they lived in Cloondaff, Addergoole. one of their sons (Michael) Patrick Lynch married Maria Gannon in Castlebar (1900) and their children were
Delia (1903 - 1920), John Patrick ( 1905 -?), Mary (1906 - 1968), Ann (1907 - 1995), Nora (my mother)(1910 - 2003), Michael James ( 1912 - 1990) and Gertrude Grace "Gracie" (1914 - 1992).
My mother's family were raised in Knockthomas street, Castlebar. My mother Nora married Thomas McCormick and I am one of their 5 children. My name is Niall McCormick
I do have some family background, but I would be appreciative in anybody can fill in more gaps.
I believe my mother had a cousin Cyril Foy and I know from online searches that he lived in Castlebar but I don't know exactly the connection.
Please get in touch if you can shed light on my family history.

Have you tried looking for the family in the 1901/1911 census records? thee can give lots of useful information. If you haven?t already done so you can search these here:
