Where Thomas Eugene Tobin was Baptised

There is a record of the baptism of Thomas Tobin 1859 in Waterford on www.rootsireland.ie

You need to purchase credits to view the record but they are currently giving 40% off so it will only cost a few dollars. You need to register which is free.

The record will have the name of the parish - I'm not sure about the church though.

However, I managed to get the parish by searching the parish option and Aglish Roman Catholic is the parish the baptism was done in. From google it looks like the church is Ballinameela St James.

rootsireland also has 2 listings of the marriage of Thomas Tobin to Mary in Aglish Waterford - 1 in 1855 and 1 in 1864.

I realize this post is over 10 years old, but if Robin Harrigan is still receiving messages from this post -
my name is Sherrie Hardin. I have all the information on Thomas Tobin and Mary Longan's marriage. They were not married in Ireland, but in Arlington, Bureau County, Illinois.

His parent's were James Tobin and Bridget MESKILL (not Driscol) and they were from Curradarra Townland, Algish Parish, Waterford. Thomas was born in 1858 not 1859 and he was baptised 29 Aug 1858 (there was a transcription error and Bridget's name was  written as Driscol, but all other records including her birth have her as Meskill/Mesgil). I have documentation on them all. (Curradarra in later civil records for the Tobin family descendants is "Whitechurch, Dungarvan, Curradarra).
I am related to Thomas by way of James Tobin. He was the brother of my 3rd great grandmother Catherine Tobin.

I have all the information (with documents) and also have DNA matches to at least two of Thomas Tobin's descendants.
