My name is Julie Sykes from Orange New South Wales Australia. My mother's ancestors migrated from Newtownhamilton, Armagh in 1852 on "Irene"- Anne Owens. Later Edward Owens son of James Owens and Margaret McLean migrated with brothers Michael and James on Admiral Lyons in 1855. They came with the Dawson family. I am travelling to Ireland in July and will be visiting Newtownhamilton on 27 July. I would love to meet up with any descendants.

Hi I'm also of my Paternal side a descendant of this family, by Edward Owens Born 06/08/1844 & he was on the ship Admiral Lyons. I live in Queensland Brisbane Australia. I'm interested also.
