I am looking for information on Patrick Fagan, who was born to John Fagan on March 17, 1824 in Moynalvey, County Meath, Ireland. Patrick emigrated to the United States and became a naturalized citizen of the United States on August 8, 1856 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Not sure if you are confused. Moynalvey is in south-east Meath whereas Moynalty is in north Meath. They are not beside each other.

You need to confirm the parish.
Moynalty parish in north County Meath. Church records only commence in 1830.
Moynalvey in south Co Meath, approx 45 miles away does have a Patrick Fagan born to John in your timeframe. You can purchase the full records on www.rootsireland.ie or view the microfilm in the National Library in Dublin free.
Civil birth marriage and death records only commenced for non-catholics in 1845 and catholics in 1864. You will have to rely on church records for information on Patrick.
If moynalvey is the correct parish, I advise you to repost the entry under Moynalvey parish, so that someone in that area may assist you.
