Looking for more info regarding Peter of Ardgallagher - Peter Keenan born 1797 died Mar 14, 1866 and is buried in Clooncraff Cemetary, County Roscommon, on the road between Strokestown and Carrick-on-shannon. Looking for info on his wife Bridget and children James, Peter, Bridget, Bernard, Catherine and Michael. Both daughter Bridget (1828-1858) and son Michael (1834-1888) are also buried in Clooncraff Cemetery. Where is wife Bridget buried? Son Peter (1825-1892) died in County Roscommon... where is he buried? Son Peter married Ellen Redican Meehan, a widow. Ellen lived 1829-1900 and emmigrated in 1893 to USA to join her children in New York after her husband died. Any info is certainly welcome. Family lore has Peter and Ellen's children baptised in Dangan Chapel (St. Bridget's) in Kilmore. Conflicting info has the Keenan's attending St. Oliver Plunkett's church (Half Parish?) near Ardgallagher and Foxwood. Thank you for any info anyone can share!

In my experience it is impossible to know where a person is buried unless there is a headstone in a local cemetery.
Cynthia referred your query to me but I live in Ardcarne Parish and can access Baptism, Marriage records for that parish from 1843.
You should look at Elphin Diocesan website and find the name of the priest in the Aughrim/Dangan parish and write to him.
