I am looking for information about Andrew Burnett b. 1774 in Tyrone County. Married to Ann (Wilson) Burnett b. 1783 in County Armagh. They had five children in Ireland - I believ all born in County Armagh - James Burnett b. Nov. 1, 1801, William Burnett b. Nov. 24, 1809, Alexander Burnett b. Feb. 1, 1813, John Burnett b. Aug. 8, 1816, Francis Burnett b. Dec. 21, 1818, Andrew Burnett b. Sept 21, 1821. They immigrated to the USA in 1825 landing at Charleston, South Carolina. I came across a listing on the Irish World Heritage Website for a Andrew Burnet on the Early Ninteenth Century Tithe Books year 1825 townland Ballinagarve Parrish Artrea County Tyrone. Could this possibly be our Andrew Burnett?Any help for where to locate more information would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps you could try looking in church records in Artrea to see if you can find any information that would help you confirm it as the parish of origin.
Most Catholic records are held locally so you may need to write to the local parish priest for possible assistance. One website that you may find useful is the Irish Times where they give an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. It also shows you where copies of the records are available.
