I am looking for ansestors of the Latta family that lived in Strabane in the 1800s.
I have a William Latta but no wife nor DOB (he was on his sons marriage cert).
his son was also William Latta b 1830 Killenny and married Jane Lowry in 1852 in Strabane. They had 1 child that survived named Isabella.
Isabella's father William farmed land in Killenny in 1876 (rootsireland) and into the 1900s.
It is the grandfather of Isabella and his ansestors I am trying to trace.
Civil Reg Ireland have a William Latta in 1869 as a 70yr old in Londonderry but I have no information to say this is any relation.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I did locate William Latta Sr. in the 1851 Griffiths Valuation survey in Killenny. I also located the 1901 and 1911 censuses record for his son William. His daughter Isabella O'Connell and two of her seven children were living with him in 1911. William Latta died in 1920. You can write to the GRO www.groireland.ie to get a copy of this record. See links below. I did not locate a nd death index record for the older William.
