patrick martin and mary mahoney left ireland in1878, their children john,william,ellen,michael,patrick,mary(baby) were born in ireland..they had 3 more children born in south australia ,area norwood(irish town),mary ,johanna (became sister annie of jesuit nuns ),thomas joseph(my great grandfather).patrick and sons became members of st ignatius guild of st john the baptists.he was president before his death in 1894.Im looking for any ancestors of patrick martin and mary mahoney,thanks if you can help in any way

Have you found the passenger record in Australia? It may have their townland of origin and next of kin in Ireland.
Have you found any obits in Australia? It may have many details of their origin
Have you found any local history books, these are usually rich in detail as they were written about 1900-1920 so the families who were interviewed had good knowledge still of their Irish origins.
Have you any death records in Australia?
I could do some better checks for the children born in Galway(?) especially if you have a place name.
