  Hello I'm so happy to hear some information! I'm Sarah McDonnell the daughter of John Marie's oldest son. I am also a twin and never remember meeting my grandmother's twin sister. I am trying to find my relatives in Clare but I'm finding it difficult because I cannot get dates and places from my dad's family. My father passed on about 15 yrs ago. I also have not been in touch with the McDonnell side of my dad's side because of a falling out which happened years ago. I have recently reached out to my cousin Bob McDonnell on facebook and he gave me some information to start looking. I would love to get more information. I am planning to come to Ireland in the future- don't have it really planned out yet but would like to travel to where my grandparents came from. By chance I read your message.  May I recommend that you edit it and add the relevant surnames and use a Message Title that reflects the content (all messages on this message board are about Kilballyowen, so your original title will not attract anyone's attention)?

This might be your Keane family in the 1911 census.

There are a few discrepancies, but there is a Martin and there are apparently twin girls. Check the original image to confirm that the ages are actually mistranscribed.

Most of Kilbaha village stands on Kiltrellig townland.

The same family are there in 1901.

The grandparents were Thomas Keane and Kate Lillis.  Their marriage is in the parish register:

Their younger children are in Ireland, Births and Baptisms.
