Looking for family links of O'Donnell's. My grandfather was Charles O'Donnell born about 1870 to parents Dominick O'Donnell and Mary Doherty. I believe that they may have lived near Charlestown in County Mayo. Other family members that I can prove were Patrick, Dominick and Margaret. All immigrated to Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
I belive another brother may have come over but then moved back to Ireland.
My Grandfather immigrated in 1892.
See the 1901 census record from Tawnyinah townland near Charleston. Possibly, Dominick was the brother who returned to Ireland.
