I have done some preliminary research into the Kiernan family of Aughareagh and find that there is a website devoted to the family of Lorcan Kiernan. I note you have left a message there. At present, I cannot shed any further light on the matter. However, I will make enquiries and will be in contact if I find anything else.

Hi Martin,

I've looked at the Colmcille Parish Registers and also the Irish Civil Registration records at familysearch.com and know that their daughter Mary married Francis Whitney at Colmcille in 1945. It's possible that their daughter Roseanne married John Joseph Kenny in 1939 and died in Castlebrock, Longford in 1956. Hoping this will be of some help to you.
