Looking for relations of Timothy DORAN (b. 1800) and Margaret (Peggy) WALSH (of Westcourt) of SUMMERS LANE, COOLAGHMORE. Married 23 Jan 1834 in Callan. Children: Mary (b. 1835), Anastasia (b. 1837), William (b. 1839), PATRICK (b. 1841), John Henry (b. 1844), Catherine (b. 1846), Johana (b. 1849). We find the family in Quebec City, Canada when Johana dies in 1850, and Timothy dies Dec 1851. The other children are then found in the City as "orphans." PATRICK (my 3rd gr grandfather, and John Henry go to Bangor, Maine, USA sometime before 1865, when PATRICK marries Mary CRONIN (b. 1846 Bangor, Maine).

 

We also know that were DORAN's living on an adjacent Townland to SummersLane in Coolaghmore: GARRAUN--

    You seem to have done a lot of hard work on your family tree! Perhaps now you could try to reach out to any possible relations to the Dorans via an ad in local newsletters/newspaper/bulletin boards?
