I'm at a road block in researching my family history and would love a hand. I have gone back to a Timothy Harrington (believed born about 1812) who emigrated to Australia from Borrisoleigh on the Chowringhee in 1852 with his wife Anna (nee Burke) and children Anne, John, James and Catherine. I have some reason to believe his father was Edward Harrington and his mother was Margaret Shanahan, but cannot find any records to confirm this.
Anna Burke's Mother was Catherine Maher and her father was John Burke. I believe she was from Rusnamulteeny.
I believe Anna and Timothy may have had several children who died young (Edmund, Cath and Margaret), and who consequently did not make the journey to Australia. They had a further child either on board the Chowringhee or in Australia, Ellen. I believe their daughter, Catherine, married a James Hart in 1872 in Melbourne.
