Hi Clare!  Sorry for the late reply also.  She married Patrick Ward after the death of her first husband Peter Richardson. Since talking to you I did visit the area and was thrilled to be able to find my great grandmother's headstone in the St. Kevin Cemetery in Glendalough.  What a beautiful place. Heaven on earth!

P.S. Just notice your last name is Doyle.  Any relation?   I think Bridget Doyle's parents were James/Jacob Doye and Maria Healy from the Glendalough, Wicklow area.

Delighted you managed to find the headstone! My husband is the Doyle and his family are all from Dublin and while there are a few James Doyles in the mix along the way he doesn't know of a Richardson connection.
