I believe my great grandmother lived in Ballintemple, Wicklow as a young girl.  Her name was Catherine Doyle and she was born September 19, 1841.  I think her parents were farmers.  I'm not certain but I think her parents were Timothy and Mary (Byrne) Doyle.  Catherine came to New York, USA when she was 19.  I know more about her since her arrival here but nothing of her life in Ireland.  If anyone has any information about this family I would certainly be interested!  Thank you so much.

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

I went on Roots Ireland and searched Wicklow records and found three baptismal records-- two in 1842 and one in 1844 for Catherine Doyles where the mother was Mary Byrne. However, none of the three records had a father named Timothy and none were in Arklow RC church which corresponds to Ballintemple civil parish. The three fathers were James, John and Patrick.

Do you have any other information on your Doyle family?
