Folowing further research it appears my great, great, great grandmother Mary Parslow may have been born in Enniscorthy, Wexford. She married John Howarth and their three children were all born in New Ross, Wexford. The eldest child, Shepherd, was born about 1817. John may have been an English soldier stationed in Ireland. I would love to have confirmation of these details if anyone can help.

You don't mention the religious denomination. The RC records for St. Marys in New Ross go back to 1789 but they are not online currently. On July 8th the National Library of Ireland plans to place all RC parish registers online for free searching.
If they were Church of Ireland, you may want to contact the church to see what records they have.

www.nationalarchives.ie Census of 1901 23 entries for surname
Tithe Applotment records 25 entries
Griffith Valuation records 18 entriesAccording to census records the Parslows seem to be Church of Ireland denomination.

Parslow was Mary's maiden name - her married name was Howarth. I will search the Church of Ireland denomination link. I think the census entries for 1901 would be a little too late as I think both my ggg grandparents would have been born in the late 1700's.
